Devon Near-Hill

Devon Near-Hill is a teaching and performing artist based in Los Angeles. She has a strong background in bellydance ballet, salsa, and modern dance. Devon fell in love with Brazilian Zouk five years ago and has since been training and exploring its depths especially with the school Renata Peçanha USA directed by Cristi and Clinton. This year she won second place in the LA Zouk Festival Semipro US Open competition as the first female lead to ever compete. She is so excited to share her love of movement and play with you!

Workshop: Dive into brazilian zouk! These workshops will cover the structure of basic steps as well ways to play within your dance.  Learn how communicate with your partner on the dance floor through play, connection, and intention! These workshops are appropriate for dancers of all levels/movers of all backgrounds.
