Welcome to Hale Akua Organic Garden Farm & Eco-Retreat Center. Mahalo for your interest in staying with us. Before booking your stay, there are some things that you should know about our lovely retreat space. We are centered in a tropical rainforest with many weird and wonderful insect species that look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie! We only use natural pesticides and cleaning chemicals on the property. As a result, we occasionally have more animal visitors. These may include cute geckos, ants, flying cockroaches, centipedes, cane spiders, and mice. We are in their natural habitat, so we will not be able to refund any portion of your stay for these house guests. Let the office know if any of these guests are making you uncomfortable, and we will have them removed for you. We recognize that it can be difficult to find open dates in our booking calendar sometimes. Please call our office at (808) 572-9300, we would love to help you book your stay!

Kindly confirm the total number of guests for your stay to get the right pricing for your booking as additional guests beyond two will incur a charge of $50 per person per night (exclusive of taxes). ***PLEASE NOTE: We request you to coordinate with a member of our guest services team to schedule your farm tour or therapeutic massage. We recommend contacting us at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date for scheduling. Please call our office at (808) 572-9300 or email us at contact@haleakua.org. Please also note that the Farm Tours are conducted on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays at 10:00am and requires a minimum of 2 people per experience.

Learn about all the wonderful organic ways we raise animals, vegetables, fruits, and herbs, and see and taste what’s growing in season! You will have the opportunity to learn about our composting methods, worm composting, growing mushrooms, micro greens, and get to spend time with our ducks, chickens, bees, and fish.
